New Video Highlights the Diagnostic Center’s Work with Gary, Indiana
The Office of Justice Program’s new video explains how the Diagnostic Center worked with the City of Gary, Indiana to design an overall approach for improving public safety and reducing violent crime. In this video, Diagnostic Specialists explain the unique evidence-based process that the Diagnostic Center utilizes to aid communities in using data to understand and address their specific criminal justice issues. Gary, Indiana Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson and Police Chief Larry McKinley discuss the successes Gary, Indiana has seen since requesting the Diagnostic Center’s independent, third-party assistance.
