National Police Week 2017

Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others. National Police Week draws between 25,000 to 40,000 officers from around the world to participate in a number of planned events in Washington, DC to honor law enforcement. A collaborative effort of many organizations dedicated to honoring America’s law enforcement community, National Police Week 2017 will take place from May 14 – May 20.
